The 'Interactive Policy Making' (IPM) initiative consists of two Internet-based instruments which enable Commission to collect feedback directly from citizens, consumers and businesses in order to learn from their experiences. This atypical grass-roots additional and complementary knowledge helps to shape new policies and improve existing ones.
The Online Consultation Mechanism enables the creation of on-line, structured questionnaires, which are answered by stakeholders on the Internet and from which we can obtain their views and feedback on a particular policy-related issue.
